“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”-Oprah
Our mission is simple: To inspire at-risk youth to want more for their lives, and to support their journey from at-risk to thriving.
Our intervention is an immersive approach; we disrupt the youth at-risk cycle by offering in-depth and consistent mentoring, opportunities, and experiences to teens, that under normal circumstances, they would never be able to receive. This sparks a desire for more, an excitement for their goals, and a passion for their futures - which completely changes the trajectory of their lives. Our focus is on Education, Entrepreneurship, Employment, social-Emotional development, and Exploration. The E5.
Disrupting the At-Risk Cycle

Disrupting the At-Risk Cycle *
In order to prevent poverty, violence, and incarceration, we need to first understand what leads a young person to engage in at-risk behavior that cements an undesirable future.
1. Children become “At-Risk” when:
They live in a high-crime, low-income area
They experience a lack of parental involvement/disengaged parents or parental abuse and neglect
They enter the foster care system
They are exposed to violence, drugs, and gang activity
They lack access to educational, therapeutic, supportive, and mentoring resources
2. The At-Risk Behavior then takes place:
Use of drugs and alcohol
Engaging in sexual activity
Mental & emotional instability; leading to self harm and harming others
3. The consequences of At-Risk behavior is experienced. In any given 24 hour period:
2,795 girls will get pregnant
1,439 teens will attempt suicide
2 teens will be murdered
3,506 teens will run away
12 young people will die by suicide
In addition:
Over 1 million teens will drop out of high school every year (Almost half of all teens with an undiagnosed and untreated mental illness will drop out of high school.)
In 2020, 51,000 teens were arrested for a violent crime or assault, 930 teens were arrested for murder, and 12,000 teens were arrested for robbery.
Every 4 minutes, a teen is arrested for an alcohol related crime.
Every 7 minutes, a teen is arrested for a drug related crime.
Our at-risk youth, who no one intervenes for, become what they experienced as children and teens -Disengaged, violent, unstable, unfulfilled, uneducated, poor.
As will their children, because this is all that they know and experience.
It’s Time To Stop The Cycle.
At E5 Social, intervention, support, and guidance is Daily. It is Consistent. It is a Family. It is healing. It is trust. It is inspiration.
